Materials and grades

Galvanizing process

Hot-dip Galvanizing (HDG)

The zinc layer is thicker (30-275 g/m2) and is formed by dipping the flat steel into molten zinc. Very suitable for outdoor use and for large steel parts such as steel plates and coils.

Electro Galvanizing (EG)

The zinc layer is thinner (10-50 g/m2) and is formed by electrochemical methods. Used for precision parts such as wire, nails, bolts, gears, and wire mesh for indoor and outdoor use.
