What is stainless steel perforated plate?

The core of stainless steel perforated plate is “perforation”. It uses CNC punching machines or laser equipment to accurately process circular, square, hexagonal, and other hole shapes on stainless steel plates. The hole spacing and arrangement can be customized. The material base material mostly uses 304 and 316 series. Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and processing performance, it can adapt to complex environments such as humidity, acid, and alkali.

Common grades and characteristics

304 stainless steel

As the most widely used austenitic stainless steel, grade 304 contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, also known as 18-8 stainless steel. It has excellent corrosion resistance and formability and is suitable for construction and mechanical protection in general environments. It has good low-temperature performance, but its resistance to chloride ion corrosion is relatively weak.

316 stainless steel

Adding 2%-3% molybdenum to 304 significantly improves the resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially for highly corrosive scenes such as marine environments and chemical equipment. For example, 316 grade perforated plates are often used in curtain walls of coastal buildings and guardrails of offshore platforms.

304L/316L low carbon series

By reducing the carbon content to below 0.03%, the risk of intergranular corrosion caused by the precipitation of chromium carbide during welding is reduced, which is suitable for large structural parts that need to be welded, such as food processing equipment and pharmaceutical machinery.

430 ferritic stainless steel

Contains 17% chromium, no nickel, low cost, and resistance to oxidizing acid corrosion, but weak ductility. Suitable for decorative partitions, audio grilles, etc., in dry indoor environments.

• 2B: Silver-gray, smooth surface, relatively soft luster, non-mirror effect. Good processing performance, strong corrosion resistance, can reflect light well, not easy to produce glare.
• BA: The surface is as bright as a mirror, with high reflectivity, and presents a bright metallic luster. The surface quality is high and the corrosion resistance is excellent. It is used in fields with demanding appearance to improve the grade.
• NO.1: The original surface after hot rolling has a rough texture, obvious rolling texture, and a dark gray color. It has high hardness, good wear resistance and strength, but relatively poor corrosion resistance, and requires rust prevention treatment.
• NO.3: It has a uniform matte texture, moderate roughness, can produce diffuse reflection effect, and is visually softer. Wear-resistant and scratch-resistant, it can prevent the adhesion of fingerprints and stains, and is easy to clean and maintain.
• NO.4: Smoother than NO.3 surface, with a delicate matte texture, a certain glossiness, and can reflect light well. It has good decorative and corrosion resistance, beautiful surface and easy to clean.
• 8K: It has a mirror effect, with extremely high gloss and reflectivity, and can clearly reflect the image of the object, just like a mirror. The appearance is gorgeous and highly decorative, which greatly improves the product grade and vision.

• HL: The brushed surface has a continuous silky texture with consistent texture direction, presenting a soft metallic luster and a unique line beauty. It has good scratch resistance, can hide slight scratches, and has a certain anti-slip effect.
• 1D: The surface that has been heat-treated and pickled after hot rolling is similar to NO.1, but the surface oxide scale is removed after pickling, and the color is silver-gray, with good corrosion resistance, processability, and surface flatness, and the surface quality is better than NO.1.
