Product Type

• Q195 hot-rolled plate/coil: hot rolling production process, usually with a thickness of 1.5-20mm, mainly used for building structures and container bottom plates.
• Cold-rolled plate/coil Q195: cold-rolled annealing process, thickness range 0.3-3.0mm, more precise size than hot rolling, mainly used for home appliance housings and hardware stampings.
• Q195 wire & wire rod: High-speed wire rolling, supplied in round coils, is the raw material for iron wire, nails, binding wire, and baling wire.
• Industrial steel: hot-rolled forming, common forms of angle steel, flat steel, square steel, I-beam, channel steel, etc., mainly used for simple steel structures and shelves.
• Q195 steel pipe: including straight seam welded pipe, spiral welded pipe, bright welded pipe, galvanized welded pipe, etc.

Characteristics of each type of Q195 product

• Q195 Hot-rolled sheet/coil: low cost, moderate strength, suitable for welding and cutting. There is oxide scale on the surface, which needs to be pickled or sandblasted before use.
• Q195 cold-rolled sheet/coil: smooth surface (Ra≤0.8μm), high dimensional accuracy. The strength is slightly lower than hot-rolled plate.
• Industrial steel: easy to form, with a full range of spot specifications. Limited load-bearing capacity (not suitable for heavy structures).
• Q195 steel pipe: good plasticity, easy cold bending, excellent welding performance, high yield strength, low cost, but limited load-bearing.
• Q195 wire/rod: high plasticity, can be drawn to fine wires below Φ0.5mm. Low hardness, galvanizing, or coating is required to enhance durability.

• Building and structure: As a galvanized/color-coated substrate, it is often used to manufacture structural parts such as beams, columns, purlins, and bridge support structures of houses.
• Machinery manufacturing: used to manufacture various mechanical parts, such as washers, cotter pins, ferrules, brackets, hooks, pull rods, etc. Used to weld various structural parts, such as equipment frames, bases, etc.
• Hardware and daily necessities: Wire rods for cold heading can be made into hardware parts such as anchor bolts and nuts, rivets, hinges, etc. Hot-rolled Q195 coils are pressed into corrugated plates for packing.
