A: The main difference lies in the surface treatment during the annealing process and the final appearance:
- Bright Annealed: Annealed in an inert atmosphere to prevent surface oxidation, so the finished product retains the metal’s original bright appearance.
- Black Annealed:Annealing in a furnace containing air causes the surface to be oxidized to produce dark oxide, making it dull and appearing black.
Q2: Can this wire be used for outdoor fencing?
A: Although it can be used, we do not recommend it for long-term outdoor use because it has no protective coating and will rust outdoors. We recommend galvanized iron wire, which has a much longer lifespan.
