Uses of Galvanized Chicken Wire Mesh

1. Poultry fencing for animal control, such as chicken coops, rabbit fences, dog fencing, etc. Generally, 0.75 mm, 0.85 mm, and 1.0 mm galvanized wires are commonly used.

Types of Galvanised Chicken Mesh

Galvanized chicken wire is woven with carbon steel wires or galvanized wires. According to the production process, it can be divided into four types, including

1. Hot dipped galvanized before weaving;
2. Hot dipped galvanized after weaving;
3. Electro-galvanized before weaving;
4. Electro galvanized after weaving.

Among them, hot dipped galvanized after weaving mesh is more corrosion-resistant and long-lasting, which is suitable for outdoor uses or other harsh environments. While electro-galvanized wire mesh will be cheaper.

1. Wire gauge: Thicker gauges (such as 19 gauge) are stronger and more durable, while thinner gauges (such as 22 gauge) are more flexible.
