WPC composite fencing is made from recycled wood fibers and HDPE, offering a texture and appearance similar to solid wood without the need for paint maintenance. Its material composition is: HDPE (approx. 30%) + wood flour/bamboo flour (approx. 60%) + chemical additives (approx. 10%).

WPC has the following limitations:

1. Prone to thermal expansion, contraction, and aging under extreme temperature differences.

2. In hot and humid regions, actual service life is only 10-15 years, with surface fading and chalking.

3. Low impact strength, may crack or shatter under external force.

4. Non-fireproof, posing safety hazards.

5. May still develop mildew after long-term outdoor use.

Material Composition of PPGI Wood-Grain Steel Sheet

Our PPGI wood-grain steel sheet consists of the following components:

1. Substrate: High-quality galvanized steel sheet with a high zinc coating weight, ensuring mechanical and chemical properties.

2. Galvanized Layer: Hot-dip galvanizing process provides cathodic protection — even if the surface is scratched, the surrounding zinc layer will corrode preferentially to protect the substrate, offering far superior rust resistance than ordinary steel.

3. Coating System: After degreasing and phosphating treatment, PE/SMP/HDP/PVDF organic coatings are applied (selectable based on project requirements), then a realistic wood grain is formed through heat transfer printing technology.

4. Comprehensive Advantages: Fireproof (Class A), wind-resistant (withstands typhoons up to Force 12), termite-proof, salt-spray resistant — these are all natural shortcomings of WPC.
