What are the Types?

Ⅰ. Classified by Structural Peak Type

(1) Flat windbreak fence panel: Features a clean appearance and easy fabrication, offering the lowest cost. Suitable for decorative or light-load scenarios with minimal wind resistance requirements.

(2) Single-peak windbreak net: Simple structure with continuous waveform. Cost-effective for areas requiring moderate windbreak height.

(3) Double-peak windbreak net: Features two consecutive peaks for enhanced rigidity and superior wind resistance compared to single-peak models. One of the most widely used types.

(4) Triple-peak windbreak net: More complex structure with three wave peaks, offering superior overall rigidity and stability. Commonly used in wind corridors or high-wind regions.

How do I calculate how much I need to buy?

The number of windbreak panels is not determined by the ground area, but rather by the area of the “wind wall” that needs to be shielded.

1. How much area is needed?

For an area with a perimeter of 1000 meters, single-sided installation, and a height of 8 meters:

Windbreak panel area = 8 meters (height) × 1000 meters (length) = 8000 square meters.

2. How many panels are needed?

Using a single panel size of 2.5 meters in length and 1.0 meter in width as an example. Each panel covers an area of 2.5 square meters.

Total panels = 8000 square meters ÷ 2.5 square meters/panel = 3200 panels.

3. Weight estimation

Assuming steel density of 7.85 kg/m³/mm and thickness of 0.8 mm.

Single panel weight ≈ 2.5 m² × 0.8 mm × 7.85 kg/m³/mm ≈ 15.7 kg.

Total weight = 3,200 panels × 15.7 kg/panel ≈ 50,240 kg (Approx. 5 tons).
