What are the production steps of steel strands?
Wire preparation
High quality wire rod (high carbon steel or low alloy steel) → pickling and rust removal → Multiple cold drawing by wire drawing machine → annealing → galvanizing/epoxy coating (optional)
Twisting steps
arranging a number of steel wires (usually 2-7) → twisting by stranding machine → pre-tensioning treatment → low temperature tempering (eliminating internal stress) → cooling → surface treatment (oiling/waxing/polymer coating) → cutting and winding → specification, model production batch marking

Quality Inspection
Wanzhi conducts strict diameter and strand pitch inspection on steel strands, tensile tests including tensile strength, elongation, and yield strength, as well as surface crack and scratch inspections, and salt spray tests (galvanized or coated steel strands).

Packing method
Wrap with moisture-proof paper, plastic film, or woven bag and secure with steel straps.
- Coil packing: rolled into coils and bundled with strapping tape.
- Spool Packaging: Larger quantities are wrapped around spools and placed in protective sleeves.
- Box Packaging: Smaller lengths are packed in boxes, usually with protective pads.

- High carbon steel, low alloy steel as the main raw material, if the use of stainless steel will increase the cost.
- Diameter, strength grade (e.g. 1570MPa, 1860MPa), structure (e.g. 1×7, 1×19) will affect the price.
- galvanized, coated with epoxy resin treatment process, can enhance the performance, but will increase the price.
