What is the difference between wire mesh and perforated mesh sheet?

Metal wire mesh is made by welding or weaving metal wires, while perforated mesh is made by perforating the surface of a metal sheet. The former is more flexible and adaptable, while the latter is more rigid.

Metal wire mesh can be made of galvanized wire, low-carbon wire, stainless steel wire, etc., while the substrate of perforated mesh can be galvanized steel sheet, ZAM sheet, low-carbon steel sheet, high-carbon steel sheet, PPGI steel sheet, PPGL steel sheet, and can be used directly as flooring, while metal wire mesh is generally not used as flooring.
