Galvanized expanded metal lath, a superior multi-purpose expanded steel base widely used for interior and exterior plaster and stucco reinforcement. Expanded metal lath is formed from sheet steel that has been slit and expanded to form thousands of plaster “keys” per square yard. Production Process

• Material selection: Low carbon steel plate or galvanized steel plate is selected as the raw material to ensure that the product has sufficient strength and corrosion resistance.
• Cutting and expansion: The steel plate is cut into the required size, and then punched and stretched with expansion equipment to form a mesh with regularly arranged diamond or square holes. In this process, the metal is not only cut, but also stretched to form metal ribs with a certain height, which enhances the strength and rigidity of the structure.
• Hot-dip galvanizing: The cleaned expanded mesh is immersed in molten zinc liquid for continuous hot-dip galvanizing.
• Cooling and post-processing: Cool the expanded plate, and then level, cut, and form it.
• Quality inspection: Check whether the surface is flat, whether the holes are uniform, whether the zinc layer is complete, and whether there are defects such as missing plating or zinc nodules.
• Performance testing: Conduct mechanical property tests, such as tensile strength and impact resistance, to ensure compliance with international standards and requirements.
