This customer is a well-known Italian supplier of building materials. We have cooperated with this customer for many years and focus on providing high-end metal binding solutions for the local infrastructure, agriculture, and industrial markets. The main products are steel bar binding, fence reinforcement, and gardening support products. The annual purchase of GI wire ties exceeds 500 tons, and the corrosion resistance and tensile strength of the materials are strictly required.

Production Process
1. Raw material selection: Select high-quality Q195 low-carbon steel wire rod (C≤0.12%, P/S≤0.045%) that meets the standards for optimal ductility.
2. Wire drawing: Cold drawing to precise diameter (tolerance ±0.05mm) using tungsten carbide dies.
3. Galvanizing: Hot-dip galvanizing in a zinc bath at 450°C (9GA/10GA: Z120/Z90; 16GA: Z60).
4. Post-treatment: Passivation with chromium-free solution to enhance corrosion resistance.
5. Coiling and cutting: Automatically coiled into coils or straight cut lengths that meet customer requirements.

Quality Control
1. Dimensional inspection: Laser micrometer verifies diameter consistency.
2. Zinc adhesion: ASTM B633 salt spray test (>72 hours, no red rust).
3. Tensile strength: 350-500 MPa (tested according to ISO 6892-1).
4. Certification: Factory Test Report (MTR), certified to EN 10204 3.1.

Application of GI iron wire
1) 6 Gauga galvanized wire: 4.12 mm in diameter, relatively thick. Tie and reinforce bridges and large building frames. Reinforce fence posts or high-strength livestock fences. Ship anchor chains and offshore platform fixings.
2) 9 Gauge galvanized wire: 3.66 mm, used for medium-strength fences such as farm fences and garden fences. Also used for concrete reinforcement tie or scaffolding fixation or grape rack support, large plant climbing frame support.
3) 10 Gauge galvanized wire: 3.25 mm, poultry fences, light fences for small animal cages. Metal crafts, flexible furniture frames. Bundle heavy objects or industrial materials.

4) 12 Gauge galvanized wire: 2.64 mm in diameter, vegetable trellises, small flower gardening trellises, temporary sunshades, simple trellises, tie and fix, make plastic metal woven products, decorations.
5) 14 Ga galvanized wire: 2.03mm diameter, such as small plant climbing frames, flower pot fixation, and other household uses. Fine crafts such as jewelry making and model making. Bundling lightweight goods or stationery.
6) 16Ga GI iron wire: diameter 1.63 mm, metal wire weaving, micro sculpture production, high flexibility occasions, integrated circuit fixation, cable bundling, and also used for fixed support of medical devices.
