On November 3, the production of 26 tons of barbed wire with a 1.6mm wire diameter ordered by Nigeria customer from Wanzhi Steel was completed. The barbed wire has a total of 1040 rolls, of which each roll is 500 m and weighs 25 kg. The workers packed the barbed wire and loaded it onto the truck. The shipment will be sent to the port today. We are expecting feedback from our customers when they receive the shipment.

This customer contacted us and expressed his needs to us. He was buying barbed wire for two purposes and wanted our advice.

1. Used to fence a 2-hectare farm to prevent livestock such as cattle, sheep, and horses from running out；

2. Surround a ten-hectare mountain forest to prevent animals such as coyotes, wild dogs, and wild pigs from getting in.

Plan 1: When installing barbed wire on a farm, a pattern of one stake every two meters, with six rows of barbed wire around the top and bottom, can be used. For a one-hectare farm, this installation method requires about 3,600 meters of barbed wire, which can effectively stop livestock from running out.

Plan 2: When using barbed wire in mountain forests, we recommend our customers install it with a stake every one meter and ten rows of barbed wire above and below. In addition, the distance between the top and bottom of the barbed wire needs to be dense. This will better prevent the intrusion of foreign objects. For a ten-hectare mountain forest, a total of about 22,000 meters of barbed wire will be used.
