Zinc can be applied using a method in which the wire is dipped into a molten bath of zinc or it can be electroplated on the surface. The production of GI wire is simple. We use steel rods as raw materials. Then the first step is to clean or pickle the wire rods to remove the oxides and impurities on the surface. After that, the descaled wire rods will go through wire drawing machines to make wires of the required size. These wires are often referred to as “black wires”. After being pickled and annealed, the wire will be galvanized, including hot-dipped galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. Then they will be rolled up into coils. You can package them up for sale after quality control.

What Is Quality Galvanized Iron Wire?

1. Firstly, the wire surface should be smooth without sagging, dripping, slags, or other obvious defects. For example, the zinc leakage area should be less than 0.5 mm; Also, no more than 3 leakage spots per square centimeter.
