1. Galvanized Hexagonal Wire Mesh (Chicken Wire)

How to Install And Maintain It?

• Determine the breeding area and clear the site.
• Prepare galvanized poultry wire, posts, ties, and tensioners.
• Install posts, one every 2-3 meters, with a recommended depth of 30-50cm. Reinforce corners and door frames.
• Lay and secure the netting, fixing it every 30cm with ties or U-shaped clips. Tension the netting to prevent slack.
• Bury the bottom of the netting 10-15cm into the ground, or extend it outwards 30cm to the ground and press it down with soil.
• Reserve doorways and entrances, and use latches or hooks for locking.

 

Installation Tips:

• Post Spacing: Maintain a 1–1.5 meter distance between posts. Tightly secure the mesh panels and bury them in a 10–15cm deep pit at the bottom to prevent digging.
• Overlap the mesh panels by 5–10cm and secure them tightly with binding wire, leaving no gaps.
• Wear gloves throughout the process to avoid cutting or scratching the mesh edges.
• Maintenance Tips: Avoid scratching the zinc coating with sharp objects. If damaged, promptly apply anti-rust paint.
• Regularly check for loose or rusted mesh panels and reinforce or replace them as needed.
• For outdoor use, hot-dip galvanized + PVC-coated mesh is preferred to reduce maintenance frequency.
